Why should you use my easy to follow made from scratch recipes?

Big food industries greatly damage your health while taking your money. They put "food" on the shelves with ingredients we can't pronounce and that we aren't supposed to eat but yet we consume on a daily basis.

My dietitian explained that these "Food" ingredients cause us pain in our joints and inflammation in our bodies.


Have you ever gone into the store, picked up a ketchup bottle, and read the ingredients? I was shocked to read "there may be some ingredients not typically found in ketchup." Like, why the heck would you put that in my ketchup?


Or how about olive oil mayonnaise? On the back of that bottle, olive oil is the last ingredient while the main ingredient is a cheap soybean oil! How absolutely frustrating and dishonest!


The food companies do this because they know we don't read the back of the label. So, technically, the mayonnaise we bought does have olive oil but is absolutely terrible for our bodies because of all of the other unhealthy ingredients in it.


They sell us food that they market as "healthy" and get off on a technicality. I am fed up with the food industry shenanigans, aren't you?

I am passionate about cooking and the ingredients that go into our bodies.


I was interested in cooking ever since I could eat. I loved watching cooking shows growing up, and I always wanted to be in the kitchen to help.


My aunt taught me so much and handed down some old family recipes that I still make. Since then, most of my jobs have been working in restaurants, kitchens, and with people who love to eat (who doesn't, right?).


I love to grocery shop, cook, and take pictures of the food I make, and I love helping people with recipes and healthful eating.


The average person may find it difficult to prepare food or read ingredients because of time and finances. That's where I come in. I make most recipes from scratch to eliminate processed foods completely (or as much as possible).

Don't get me wrong, I still love my In and Out Burger or pizza from Costco every blue moon! However, while I may crave an In and Out burger, I will go to the grocery store, buy the ingredients, and make my own version to feed that craving.
